Eagle Scout Candidate Alex Bouthillier strives to promote cancer awareness in Mansfield !

In order to help raise cancer awareness and honor loved ones lost to cancer, I am putting together a memorial plaque for my scout eagle project. Families can honor their loved one by including them on this plaque. Nameplates will be available for a minimum donation of $30.

Nameplates will have four lines of text regarding their loved one. Text would include their name, years lived, type of cancer, and any personal comments (see downloadable order form below).

A DVD will also be made of videos and pictures from the recent Mansfield Relay for Life held at the Mansfield High School. If you have any relevant media that you would like included you can burn it to a disc or send it to me via e-mail. The DVD will be featured on Mansfield Cable Access and given to the Relay for Life to promote cancer awareness in our community.   For questions call Alex Bouthillier 508-277-5013 or e-mail using our Contact Form.

Earn money for your personal Troop account by selling Boy Scout Popcorn

September is Boy Scout Popcorn month.  Selling Pop Corn is one of the best ways to fundraise and build up your personal troop savings account to be used during the upcoming year for the purchase of new camping gear, special troop activities, or even summer camp.   More information will be provided during our troop meetings.

For those of you who may be considering buying new uniforms attached is the 2008 uniform guide, with prices and uniforms for most participants.  If you are looking for these items, please contact Debbie Laird (deb.laird@scouting.org) or 508-286-9202 ext 205, first, to see if we have them in stock.  If not, she can order them, we pay the shipping, and you can usually have them within 2 weeks.
